Independence Day will be celebrated on July 3rd, as tradition, at the Selma High School. This will be Selma’s 30th Annual July 3rd Celebration. Every year, The Selma Chamber and many Sponsors, provide food booths, kids activities and live music along with a Firework Extravaganza to provide Selma with a safe place to celebrate Independence Day. We invite you to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy this community event with your loved ones. Doors open at 5:30p.m. at the Selma High School -South of Stadium on Thompson Ave, see map below. No seats will be available so please bring your blanket or a lawn chair. Remember, no outside food or drinks will be allowed. One UN-OPENED water bottle per person will be accepted. We strive for a safe family night so please bring the kids as there will be bounce houses and plenty of other kid activities along with live music for the adults. Have a wonderful 4th of July and remember those who fought and continue to fight for our freedom.

Monthly Mixer June 19th, 2019 hosted by the Second Chance Animal Shelter in Selma, CA.

After-Business Monthly Mixers are held on the third Wednesday of the month, beginning at 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Bring a business friend and a small drawing gift for the raffle and enjoy networking over light refreshments provided by the Host. Raffle prizes start at 5:45 p.m. followed by Introductions & Announcements -an opportunity to introduce your business to other business leaders.

At this month’s Mixer get familiar with the staff of The Second Chance Animal Shelter as they Host and provide information about rescuing animals.

No fee to mix-and-mingle but a small donation to support The Second Chance Animal Shelter will be greatly appreciated to continue supporting the cause.

The Selma District Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a CPR/First Aid certification course.

The CPR/First Aid Certification Course will be held on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 at 8:30a.m.-12:30p.m. at the FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING CENTER. Address: 1711 Tucker St, Selma, CA 93662

There is space available so please RSVP as soon as possible. $50 regular cost, $25 for Chamber members.
