Fresno County’s business community needs your help! The Fresno County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is partnering with the Fresno County Department of Public Health and the City of Fresno to roll out the new Revive Fresno County initiative.

Revive Fresno County seeks to help businesses responsibly re-open and to remain open in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines and regulations by:

  1. Providing up-to-date, industry specific guidance and resources to businesses across Fresno County;
  2. Gathering feedback from the business community on said guidelines through an online survey; and
  3. Identifying and promoting businesses that will adhere to and operate by local and industry guidelines on the Revive Fresno County website

Feedback gathered from the Revive Fresno County survey will be aggregated and provided to Fresno County Department of Public Health to help assess our business community’s needs and readiness to progress along the state’s Resilience Roadmap. The Revive Fresno County survey will be open through July 16, 2020, and includes a chance for participating businesses to win one of fifteen (15) $100 gift cards.

Selma’s 2020-2021 Raisin Queen Ashneet Gill

Meet Selma’s 2020-2021 Raisin Queen, Ashneet Gill, sponsored by The Selma Rotary Club.

Ashneet Gill will be a Senior this Fall of 2020 and has been active as President of her Junior Class, on the diving team, Treasurer of Interact and President of the Bhangra Club. Ashneet is also involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters Club.

“I actually wanted to run a couple months before I heard applications were out,” Gill said, “so when I heard the applications were out for Raisin Queen, I was so excited to grab one and start selling tickets. I thought it was a great way to get more involved in the community and make connections.” -Ashneet Gill, Selma Enterprise, Wednesday July 8, 2020.
